Fuel Gas Cost Analysis
The Harris Products Group Fuel Gas Cost Calculator uses known or
calculated BTU values of the different fuel gases to estimate cost. It will calculate
costs of fuel and oxygen required to burn the given amount of fuel gas at average
flame intensity. It calculates only for preheat gases when cutting and the assumption
is made that the amount of oxygen used for actual cutting will remain the same for
all gases. BTUs and Oxy-Fuel ratios are calculated averages.
